Progressive Students envisions a campus that empowers students from all communities to work together toward eliminating the barriers to equal opportunity and success. We come together to represent and advocate for the student voice and provide open resources towards enhancing our education, promoting mutual respect between communities, and collectively furthering the student movement. We seek to shed light on the lack of accountability and transparency in academics, campus politics, and budget management through direct action organizing.

As Progressive Students we are cohesive, committed, and passionate. We have all worked together before in a variety of different spaces such as, but not limited to: Engaging Education, the Women of Color Conference, and of course the Student Union Assembly (SUA). We uphold a benchmark for the capacity to yield results and we will surpass this benchmark because we all have prior experience and now know what it takes to accomplish our goals.
We are student leaders who all share a similar vision for change and empowerment of the student body but more importantly, we are advocates on behalf of ALL students; focused on our responsibility of progressive students to empower and inform students to take action on their deserving rights.
